CLIENT: Brandeus

PROJECT: Too Deep - Brandeus FT. Ck The Walker

When Brandeus first  reached out to us with a concept for his latest single Too Deep we knew exactly where we wanted to take this. We had great success with ‘War by Brandeus’ released in 2019 so we wanted to keep a familiar look and tone but create a more visual story. The concept was very minimalistic - must include beach landscape/locations shots of the Gold Coast. We had lots of room for us to get creative, we worked off a mood board created by Brandeus and started developing a story.

“‘Too Deep’ represents the emotional vagueness between two people in the beginning stages of a relationship. At a point where a love interest becomes dependant on the other and is in too deep to cut ties.” 

We established early that we wanted to create 3 different looks to connect with the emotional stages; Lust, neutral and falling apart. From this we scouted 3 locations and began our storyboarding process.
